Main Goal

The Limagrain Field Seeds (LFS) Head of HR ensures an effective and consistent deployment of Limagrain HR policies and programs on the scope in accordance with the Group HR strategy and within the framework of the orientations defined by the business line, to help the business to meet its ambition.


As Head of HR for LFS, she/he acts as a reliable business partner toward business line CEO’s and Executive Committee.


Ensure in coordination with LFS HR team that the Business Line LFS have the necessary human capital for the adequate operation and development of its activities planning for today’s as well as tomorrow’s needs, while championing culture, properly managing and developing the organizational structure, people, processes, and tools.
Lead functionally, advise, coach & support the Territories and Research Head of HR of the Business lines LFS and ensure that the appropriate HR projects and priorities are implemented in the Business lines according to Business targets and strategy. 
 

Job description

-    Advise and support the LFS Executive Committee members  in their people management duties but also in structuring/restructuring and/or business development projects. 
-    Leads HR transversal projects within LFS to support 2030 Group Ambition and to mutualize efforts/avoid duplications.  Ensure the required action plans are implemented at Research and BSA levels. 
-    Ensure the group operates for all HR related matters in compliance with local regulation in the LFS business lines. To do so the LFS head of HR will rely on the  Territoriesthe Territories and Research Heads of HR and monitor carefully the compliance of HR activities and the application of the Group code of conduct. 
-    Ensure and facilitate interactions, good practice sharing within the HR teams of LFS. 
-    Ensure strong interface with the VP Corporate of HR, the different Territories and Research Head of HR, as well as Group HR team to align on HR policies, processes, tools and set priorities. 
-    Ensure strong coordination with the different Territories and Research Head of HR seeking alignment /efficiency and providing adequate support for harmonization, new projects, and HR priorities implementation. 
-    Acting as HR lead to coordinate business activities from HR standpoint working with the HR Directors. 
-    Smooth & promote the internal/external mobility within the business lines and across seed activities (LFS).
-    Organize the LFS talent review together with HR Dev Director as well as follow up meetings.
-    Prepare the execom people review together with the Territories and Research Heads  and monitor the implementation of the action plan. 
-    Analyze and monitor people related KPIs to support decision making process in recruitment, compensation and people development at Business line level. 
-    Structure & Consolidate HR information for Strategic Plan, Budget and Forecast updates at Business Line level in coordination with the LFS Head of Finance. 
-    Participate to the business calibration as part of Business line salary review together with Group C&B Director.
-    Contribute to Limagrain Group HR projects: Be an active member of the Limagrain Global HR Committee and contribute to implement new HR strategical projects from the group in the business lines in coordination with the Territories and Research heads of HR. 
-    Ensure regular reporting of the HR activities of LFS business lines to the VP Corporate of HR. 
-    Lead functionally, coach and manage the LFS Territories and Research heads of HR. This includes developing and defining the strategic evolution and succession plan of the HR team members in the LFS organization while aligning their tactical missions.

What we expect of you

  •     MSc in HR, Business School or relative discipline     
  •      Excellent analytical and organizational skills.  Capable of analyzing complex situations and driving effective problem solving for a solution. Ability to think and operate strategically.
  •      Role of HR advisor and coach for leaders in a multi-cultural environment. 
  •      Ability and facilitation skills to handle change processes at Group level in line with Group directives.
  •      Ability to combine the requirements of an international company with the local content. 
  •      Senior profile. Minimum 10 years within management HR function in an international environment.
  •      At ease with matrix organisation and comfortable with both strategic and operational HR. 
  •      English & French fluent
