Function

 

You ensure alignment between the Business Line’s information systems and its digital, data & AI strategy with business objectives, and actively contribute to value creation in line with the IT policy and strategy defined by the Group IT Department.

Main Goal

 

The Information Systems Department is a transversal function serving all Limagrain Business Lines.

Its teams design and implement all IT, digital, data & AI solutions and IT infrastructures for Limagrain, supporting operations, members and customers across the Group.

Job description

 

Reporting hierarchically to the Group IT Department and functionally to the LFS CEO, your main responsibilities include:

 

- Define, update and implement the IT master plan for your scope, in close collaboration with the business, in line with Group principles and with a strong focus on information systems rationalization.
- Advise the Business Line CEO and Executive Committee by proposing and guiding IT, digital, data & AI solutions that best address business challenges and operational realities.
- Define strategic objectives related to the use of Data and AI to support Business Line development.
- Raise awareness among Executive Committee members and managers regarding cyber risks and promote a risk‑based security approach.
- Ensure compliance with Group IT rules, policies and strategy across the Business Line scope.
-- Ensure, in close collaboration with the Group Cybersecurity Director, a high level of IT security and resilience for the Business Line.
- Structure and drive the Data & AI transformation by deploying digital, data and AI value‑creating levers, both from a technical and organizational perspective.
- Organize, lead and develop the teams under your responsibility.
- Organize and facilitate business resources required for the design and governance of business applications.
- Build and manage the Business Line IT budget, defining and arbitrating priorities with the Business Line Executive Committee.

 

You play a central role in aligning information systems with the Business Line’s strategic and business vision, actively contributing to its transformation.
As a member of the IT Management Committee, you contribute to the strategic choices and orientations of the Group Information Systems Department.

What we expect of you

 

Education
Master’s degree (engineering school, university or equivalent) with a specialization in information systems, IT, data or digital transformation, or equivalent.


Experience


- Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in IT leadership roles, ideally within an international and matrix organization.
- Significant experience in defining and driving IT, digital, data & AI strategies in support of business functions.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and IT budgets.
- Experience in an industrial, agricultural, R&D or supply chain environment is a plus.

Languages
Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
