Function

As a member of the Marketing team, you will support the growth of the sweet/hot pepper species by recommending and managing the strategy and development within your geographical area.

Main Goal

For this short-term assignment (initially 6.5 months), we primarily want the recruited individual to manage operational processes, particularly product lifecycle management, including:

  • Preparing and managing New Product Introduction (NPI) meetings;
  • Participating in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes;
  • Managing development plans for the assigned product lines: Blocky and Lamuyo;
  • Providing support to the sales team, particularly regarding the introduction and gradual withdrawal of product lines;
  • Evaluating the production pipeline and workload;
  • Monitoring production insourcing and outsourcing projects;
  • Updating pricing and product sheets;
  • Visiting markets/clients a few times a year (particularly in Spain, Italy, and Morocco).

What we expect of you

Profile:

You got a Master's degree or an Engineering degree in agronomy or agriculture and possess a strategic vision and a strong understanding of the vegetable seed market.

You are dynamic and proactive in the projects entrusted to you, and you will be able to build strong relationships with the teams you will work with. You are business-solution oriented. You are a skilled negotiator and are willing to travel occasionally (Spain, Italy, Morocco).

A good understanding of the chili pepper seed market or prior experience as a product manager in the agricultural sector would be a significant asset.

Fluency in English is mandatory, a second language (French) would be a plus.
