Join Our Product Development Team as a Local Product Promoter

Vilmorin Mikado is looking for a Local Product Promoter in Izmir to support the development and market success of our vegetable seed portfolio. This role combines field expertise, product development, and market insight to help bring high-performing varieties to growers while supporting sustainable business growth.

 

Main Goal: Drive local product success by executing trials, supporting new product launches, and ensuring strong market positioning.

What We Expect from You:

• Execute promotion activities for NPIs and support product launches
• Align with Product and Development teams on go-to-market plans
• Organize field visits, demo trials, events, and product presentations
• Support communication plans and promotional content creation
• Define product positioning and unique selling points
• Monitor product performance and recommend improvements
• Ensure portfolio forecasts align with business objectives
• Perform value-based pricing analyses in compliance with regulations

 

Trial & Development Activities:

• Develop and manage trial plans while optimizing resources
• Coordinate sample seed orders and logistics
• Set up, execute, and evaluate DV1 and DV2 trials
• Collect, analyze, and report field data
• Contribute to NPI evaluations and maintain documentation

 

Registration & Reporting:

• Plan and document registration trials
• Support dossier preparation and present when required
• Deliver accurate and timely reports to stakeholders

 

Customer & Business Support:

• Lead technical analysis of customer complaints
• Support regional planning and identify growth opportunities
• Share technical expertise to strengthen team capabilities

Qualifications

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in product development, R&D, or similar technical roles
• Strong technical knowledge of the vegetable seed business
• Broad market awareness and an established customer/grower network
• Good knowledge of IT tools and business applications
• Fluent English is required
