About Role

The Customer & Marketing Communications Manager has an active role in our Customer Orientation strategy. He/She oversees the Operational Marketing approach toward our customers, increasing our genetic footprint by combining the right customers with the right offers. The role supports the implementation of the company strategy to address customer needs by activating segmentation, using the 4 P’s, leading the Communication Action Plan, participating in sales campaigns, and monitoring the Customer Experience.

 

This is both an operational and strategic role.

 

Scope: Turkey & Morocco

General Mission

  • Bring customer insights into our commercial approach
  • Act as a champion in translating customer needs and inputs into tangible actions or proposals
  • Actively use tools and processes such as customer relationship management, launch plans, sales campaigns, communication action plans, development plans, and sales funnel
  • Interact with customers to better understand and leverage their inputs
  • Collaborate with Subsidiary Manager, Product Development Manager, Marketing, Global Communications and Commercial Excellence to ensure full alignment and action awareness

Responsible for

  • Actively participate in building sales campaigns using customer data from customer relationship management
  • Plan and support the rollout of sales campaigns coordinated by the Subsidiary Manager
  • Define target customers (direct and indirect) within the launch plan according to the development plan for each new variety
  • Define the annual Communication Action Plan to promote the regional product range in collaboration with Product Development Manager and sales team
  • Ensure follow-up of Communication Action Plan actions in line with company guidelines
  • Coordinate and participate in major subsidiary events
  • Manage and monitor the communications budget

Contributes to

  • Track market trends and share insights to support business decisions
  • Ensure proper customer database segmentation within the customer relationship management system
  • Share best practices across business units related to customer insights and data usage
  • Collaborate with Global and Local Communications
  • Support actions to improve Customer Experience by monitoring Net Promoter Score
  • Monitor customer satisfaction using Service and Commitment rate (On Time In Full key performance indicator)

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree (Master of Business Administration is a plus)
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing and/or sales experience, preferably in the agriculture sector
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent command of Turkish (written and spoken)
  • Arabic is a plus
  • Marketing communication knowledge
