You will ensure that our cutting-edge gene editing technologies are developed and deployed responsibly, in full compliance with global regulations and our highest internal standards. Acting as a true connector across R&D, operations, and business teams, you will help turn scientific innovation into safe, compliant, and successful commercial solutions.

Job description

In this strategic and cross-functional role, you will:

Drive global stewardship & compliance

  • Build and lead a robust stewardship framework for gene-edited products across their entire lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with international regulations and internal standards
  • Anticipate regulatory changes and adapt our practices proactively

Enable innovation from lab to market

  • Partner with R&D, breeding, supply chain, and commercial teams to integrate stewardship into every stage
  • Support the development and launch of new gene-edited varieties worldwide
  • Identify and manage risks while enabling business growth

Build and deploy quality systems

  • Design and implement efficient, scalable Quality Management Systems
  • Define clear processes, procedures, and controls across all LVS entities
  • Monitor performance through KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives

Lead, influence & engage

  • Train and support teams on stewardship and compliance best practices
  • Foster a culture of transparency, responsibility, and excellence

Regularly engage senior leadership and contribute to strategic decision-making

What we expect of you

Your background

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Biology or related field
  • Strong expertise in genetics, agronomy, seed biology, quality, or risk management
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in seed industry or a related environment
  • Solid understanding of seed supply chains (vegetable seeds is a plus)
  • Fluent in English
