Function
You will lead an international team of data scientists and analysts dedicated to genotyping and phenotyping data analysis to support research and breeding programs. You will develop robust analytical pipelines, harmonize methods, and deliver reliable analyses to support predictive breeding and innovation.
You will work closely with breeders and R&D teams while developing your team’s skills and fostering a culture of scientific excellence and collaboration.
Main Goal
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, support, and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Organize workflows, priorities, and resource planning.
• Oversee the development and validation of analytical pipelines.
• Ensure scientific rigor and high-quality analyses.
• Collaborate with R&D teams and align analytical outputs with project needs.
• Train teams on data tools and methods.
• Communicate complex results clearly, including to non-specialists.
Your benefits and working environment
Profile:
• PhD or Master’s degree in genetics, biostatistics, plant breeding, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in genetics, genomics, and plant breeding.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven management experience and ability to motivate a team.
• Proficiency in genetic data analysis and biostatistical pipelines.
• Fluent in English; French is an asset.
Location:
Ideally based in Anjou, with other Limagrain sites possible (e.g., Chappes). Frequent travel expected.
