Part of a sales team in charge to promote and sell our ingredients on a B2B basis to the bakery, culinary and nutrition industries, we are looking for a Key Account Manager.
You will be responsible for developing the company's sales and margins. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers, including key accounts, on an autonomous basis, ensuring customer loyalty as well as developing the commercial relationship.

Main Goal
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for :
1. Customer focus
Take an active approach to the main stakeholders of our customers: purchasing, marketing and R&D departments. Understand their business objectives, market trends and product development plans. Provide technical expertise and advice on the use of our ingredients to support their innovation process.
Work with customers to develop our volumes and offering, ensuring the sustainable and effective development of the most strategic accounts by proposing and deploying customised strategies.
2. Collaboration
Develop close working relationships with all the internal teams at Limagrain Ingredients: R&D, purchasing, operations, quality, finance... in order to find solutions to align customer requirements and development, production capacities, ....
Carry out regular monitoring (of supplies, non-conformities, projects in progress, etc.) between customers and internal teams in order to guarantee flawless execution of sales and projects.
3. Negotiation and contracts
Negotiate prices, contracts and terms with key customers, targets and partners to secure mutually beneficial agreements that meet customer and business objectives.
Adapt negotiation strategies to the complex negotiation processes of assigned key accounts, integrating market trends, competitor activities and business objectives.
4 Business development/monitoring
Monitor market trends, competitors' activities and regulatory or industrial developments affecting the cereals, bakery, culinary and nutrition markets.
Help organise sales events (seminars, webinars, etc.) and promote the company and its product portfolio.
5 - Reporting
Ensure the reporting of activities via CRM and other means of reporting on visits/meetings in order to monitor active sales forecasts, projects and analyse risks and opportunities
Job description
You will be part of an expert and dynamic sales team based in France, the Netherlands and the UK. You will work closely with the R&D and Marketing departments to promote and sell our ingredients to the Bakery, Culinary and Nutrition industries on a B2B basis.
You will be working mainly in France and also in Europe. You will be based at Riom, our head office, or at home (home office). You will be prepared to travel extensively with customers and to our sites..
What we expect of you
You have a 5-year degree, such as a Masters, business school or engineering diploma.
You will have significant experience in the sale of ingredients and/or commodities in the food industry, ideally with an initial knowledge of industrial bakery.
Your experience has allowed you to demonstrate your negotiating skills, your empathy with customers and your ability to develop new business with key accounts.
You are recognised for your ability to work independently, your organisational skills and your ability to adapt to the organisation and tools in place, as well as your rigour in monitoring your contracts.
Your ability to listen actively and work collaboratively means you understand the needs of your contacts.
You have a proven track record in complex negotiations, thanks to your knowledge of the company's entire value chain, your leadership skills and your ability to work with the various stakeholders, as well as your tenacity and open-mindedness.
You are fluent in English and ideally in another language (Spanish or Italian). You are comfortable using IT tools and analysing data.
The role involves a lot of travel: client meetings, events (national and international).

Recruitment process
You will be first contacted for a phone interview if your application is accepted. Then you will be with your manager and the HRD.
A third interview with the head of Sales & Marketing is scheduled, and even with some key stakeholders in R&D and marketing.
