Job Description: 

Function

You will join our multicultural corn breeding team (French German) and participate in operational activities related to field observations and breeding logistics. You will contribute to the development of new corn parents with international reach

Main Goal

  • Participate in the preparation and sowing of nurseries and trials.
  • Contribute to data collection: scorings, measurements, and field counts.
  • Participate in seed production operations (hand-crosses, harvest).
  • Participate in seed logistics: packaging, labeling, inventorying, seed shipping.
  • Will supervise temporary staff to carry out various activities.

What we expect of you

  • Bachelor's degree  Bachelor's in agronomy.
  • Driving license.
  • Rigor, team spirit, proactivity, and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • French & English communication skills (B1 oral and written); German is a plus.
  • CACES 3 certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience in plant breeding or experimentation.
  • Good knowledge of the agricultural sector appreciated.
