Function

 

Within a fast‑growing cooperative Group, you report to the Deputy CEO and lead the Group Legal & Compliance function.
Your mission is to secure global operations, support strategic decision‑making, protect R&D and IP assets, ensure full regulatory compliance, and drive a strong legal governance framework across all business activities.

Main Goal

 

1/ Legal leadership & governance

Define and deploy the Group’s legal strategy.
Lead and structure corporate and Business Line legal teams.
Optimize resources: budgets, external counsel, tools.
Promote a Group‑wide legal and compliance culture.


2/ Strategic counsel to top management

Advise the Executive Committee on governance, M&A, and strategic decisions.
Support and secure high‑stakes negotiations.


3/ External growth & partnerships

Lead legal aspects of M&A transactions: due diligence, structuring, negotiation, integration.
Manage coordination with specialized external law firms.


4/ Intellectual property & innovation security

Define and implement the IP strategy (patents, trademarks, licensing).
Manage R&D agreements, technology partnerships, and IP litigation.
Protect and develop the Group’s innovation assets.


5/ Compliance, risk management & litigation

Lead global compliance programs (anti‑corruption, GDPR, competition).
Map, assess, and mitigate legal risks across all activities.
Supervise audits, whistleblowing processes, and all litigation matters.

What we expect of you

 

Education : Master’s degree in Law (International / Business Law or an equivalent).

Experience : 15–20 years of experience, including. 10 years as Head of Legal in an international environment.
Strong expertise in compliance, M&A, governance and Intellectual Property.

Strong ethics, confidentiality, integrity.

Languages : Fluent in French and English.
