Main Goal
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns that increase the sales of Limagrain Field Seeds in South Africa. This role involves market analysis, strategy development, and coordination with various teams to implement marketing activities that align with commercial priorities.
Job description
Lead the development and execution of country-specific marketing strategies.
Manage six critical marketing phases: diagnostic phase and objective setting, propose campaigns, finalize offers and campaigns, define and approve master plan, execute and monitor plans, review and evaluate post-campaigns.
Focus on product, brand, and customer-related campaigns.
Collaborate with product management, product development, and sales teams to align marketing activities.
Coordinate with global marketing teams to localize brand messaging and market materials.
Organize and lead local exhibitions, trade shows, field days, and promotional events.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to optimize marketing strategies.
Propose and manage the country’s marketing budget.
Ensure brand consistency and adherence to corporate marketing guidelines.
Travel extensively to understand the customer and build successful campaigns.
What we expect of you
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in campaign development and deployment.
Strong knowledge of market analysis, segmentation, campaign strategies, planning, and content creation. Knowledge in digital marketing will be viewed favourably.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (or similar design tools).
Willingness to travel for trade shows, customer visits and industry events.
Customer-focused mentality with a passion for customers.
