Main Goal
Responsible for executing commercial campaigns focused on retention and development by engaging directly with farmers. Increase Limagrain product awareness and market penetration at the grower level while gathering market insights and ensuring customer needs are met to support regional sales targets.
Following established procedures & guidelines, deliver main sales objectives in the dedicated region and develop the relationship with partners according to commercial policy and customer service standards.
Job description
- Reaching the annual sales targets & goals for covered area: Prahova and Buzau;
- Reaching the seasonal sales objectives for covered area;
- Reaching the revenues objectives for covered area;
- Complying with company policies relating to contracts, warranties and with contractual terms and conditions;
- Delivering retention and development commercial campaigns through regular on-field visits and direct interactions with farmers and distributors;
- Establishing, maintaining and expanding the customer base;
- Proposing, following up and implementing an annual sales forecast for the covered area mentioned above;
- Engaging proactively with farmers and distributors to understand and respond to their needs, offering tailored solutions;
- Increasing customer awareness and knowledge of Limagrain’s seed products, ensuring correct positioning and communication of product benefits;
- Ensuring full compliance with and promotion of the company’s commercial policy and pricing strategy across the region;
- Recording and reporting market insights, competitor activity, and customer feedback promptly and accurately to superiors and management of the company through all available tools;
- Collaborating closely with product managers and technical teams to support product trials, promotions, and feedback loops;
- Ensuring timely, high-quality customer support and resolution of technical issues in collaboration with the Product team;
- Identifying and addressing potential threats from competitors to protect and improve profitability within the assigned territory;
- Keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly reports, weekly workplans and monthly and annual territory analyzes, as well as any report requested by the direct supervisor or management of the company.
Skills
Specific Skills And Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in agricultural sales or customer relations min 3 years
- Good knowledge of local farming practices and market trends
- Ability to work independently and manage territory priorities
- Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office tools
- Customer-oriented mindset and problem-solving abilities
- Working level of English
