Function

Finance and Administration Department. 

This role will report to the Head of Finance/ CFO LFS Africa. 

Main Goal

The Finance Business Partner (FBP) will be responsible to provide strategic financial support, commercial insight, performance analysis, and decision-making guidance to the operational and business management teams. The role operates autonomously, acting as a trusted advisor to the business.

The incumbent would collaborate closely with Research & Product Development, Supply Chain, Sales, and Senior Leadership teams to drive profitability, operational efficiency, and sustainable business growth.

Job description

Strategic Business Partnering.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).

Transformation Plan Execution.

What we expect of you

Commercially minded finance professional capable of operating independently while partnering closely with operational leadership to improve profitability, efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

CIMA/CGMA qualification preferred.

8 years of progressive experience in Finance: inclusive of 3 years experience in FBP, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Mnagement Accounting.

Previous exposure and experience to: Inventory Management, Cost Accounting, Product profitibality analysis, Working capital management, and ERP systems.

Experience with BI/PowerBI/Data management/AI capability will be an advantage. 

Successful implementation and return on investments of approved inititatives.

Must have commercial accumen and provide Business Partnership.

Track record in the agricultural industry is an added advantage.
