Controlling
Main Goal
The Regional Controller is accountable for the accuracy and reliability of the Financial Planning and Analysis, as well as Controlling activities of each local entity (Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria).
She/He structures the financial reporting workflows, supports the company to achieve its goals and business efficiency, coordinate actively key processes (Budget/Forecasts/Closing), measure and monitor control systems designed for efficient country steering (DLAV/PnL).
Job description
Financial Reporting and Controlling Hungary, Serbia and Bulgaria:
Manage monthly controlling reports and their formal submission and/or upload in company systems (such as Flash, OPEX and Staff cost analysis, Margin analysis, Capex, Travel, IT, Royalty reports, Local sales, Stock reports, costing run, stock movements analyses, material price analysis).
Analyze monthly OPEX and ensure that the costs are aligned with the Internal Policy
Support monthly, quarterly, annual closing according to country specifics. Update controlling report system in SAP (AFO reports, Exchange rate upload).
Assist in developing and documenting business processes and financial policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Manage and reconcile data from multiple sources (SAP, Financial consolidation, tools, Excel based data sets)
Budgeting and Forecasting Hungary, Serbia and Bulgaria: Develop and manage budgets, analyze variances, and forecast future financial performance. Upload data into SAP or other tools. Support local and BA management with regular and adhoc reports.
Proactive in proposing and implementing process improvements within the organization.
Coordinate/collaborate with each country’s Finance representative to obtain information, analyze data and ensure timely and accurate corporate financial reporting.
Controlling Lead User for IT systems (SAP, BPC, Microstrategy).
Support implementation of Business Ethics & Anti Bribery general rules.
What we expect of you
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or related;
- Relevant professional experience: minimum 5 years relevant work experience, preferably controlling, finance and accounting (Big 4 is a plus);
- Experience with SAP controlling modules, MS package, Power BI, or other analytics tools; Experienced in developing dashboards;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to details; effective in process analysis, risk and control identification.
- Should have experience in partnering with an executive/Management team, and have a high level of written and oral communication skills. Transversal and hierarchical management experience and recognized skills.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Advanced English is mandatory (native or fluent).
