Role overview
As a Supply Planner at Hazera, you will play a key role in our seed supply and availability processes.
You are responsible for the planning of the vegetable seeds for several crops, dealing with short-, medium- and long-term planning. You will work closely with other departments such as Quality Control, Customer Service and Processing & Packing, Production, Marketing and drive meetings with these colleagues to optimize the supply process. Your strong communication skills and overview make you an important link between different departments at Hazera. Your team consists out of eight colleagues who are reporting to the Supply Planning Manager.
Your responsibilities
- Supply Strategy: Actively participate in planning vegetable seeds supply programs for the species under your responsibility, Processing and Packaging and working closely with our stakeholders.
- Operational Coordination: Efficiently manage planning and coordination of various operations including launching processes in the system, assigning lots to orders, following on quality testing, in collaboration with different departments to deliver products on time.
- Stock Optimization: Use your expertise to analyse Stock and make sound decisions in line with the Quality Charter, contributing to stock optimization.
- Communication: Keep all stakeholders accurately and regularly informed about stock status.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose improvements to technical processes, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our systems.
- System - Working with programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook, ERP system.
Candidate profile
- A graduate with a Bachelor’s in Agronomy, Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, or Production Management.
- High analytical skills is requirement.
- Experienced in supply or industrial planning, preferably in the agri-food sector.
- Proficient in IT tools, especially ERP systems (JDE will be a plus) and Microsoft Office programs.
- Likes to work as part of a team and has a positive, proactive attitude while can work independently and is confident to act on areas for improvement.
- English profieciency (Dutch will be a plus).

Recruitment process
Our recruitment process consists of two interviews.
The first interview focuses on understanding the candidate’s background, experience, and motivation for the role, as well as assessing overall fit.
The second interview is more in-depth and explores role-specific skills, competencies, and alignment with the team and company culture. A final decision is made following this stage.
