You will work directly with managers and business teams across multiple jurisdictions and become a trusted advisor on a broad range of commercial and operational matters.
Responsibilities
As Legal Counsel, you will be the primary legal sparring partner for various business stakeholders within Hazera. You will be part of the Legal Team, working closely with colleagues throughout the global organization and the wider Limagrain Group.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, including distribution, licensing, collaboration, procurement and sales agreements.
- Advising business teams on commercial, corporate and operational legal issues.
- Advising on intellectual property, regulatory and compliance matters.
- Managing disputes and coordinating external legal counsel where necessary.
- Participating in cross-functional project teams and steering committees.
- Helping the business translate legal risks into practical and workable solutions.
- Working closely with your colleagues at the Legal Department.
*This position requires business travels (about 3 trips abroad/year)

Candidate profile
- A Master's degree in Dutch law.
- At least 4 years of relevant legal experience.
- Experience as an attorney-at-law is strongly preferred (completion of the Dutch professional legal training program (beroepsopleiding advocatuur)).
- Excellent command of Dutch and English.
- Strong knowledge of commercial contract law and corporate law.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Dedicated, committed with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- A Team player.

Recruitment process
Ons wervingsproces bestaat uit twee gesprekken.
Het eerste gesprek is gericht op het beter begrijpen van de achtergrond, ervaring en motivatie van de kandidaat voor de functie, evenals het beoordelen van de algemene match met de rol en de organisatie.
Het tweede gesprek gaat meer de diepte in en richt zich op functie-specifieke vaardigheden, competenties en de aansluiting met het team en de bedrijfscultuur. Na deze fase wordt een definitieve beslissing genomen.
