In the International Customer Service Specialist role, you will be a part of a small but dedicated Export Customer Service Team, together with 3 other representatives and 1 coordinator. You will report directly to the Customer Service Manager.

Responsibilities

What your role will look like when you join us:

The Customer Service department is a crucial point of our company. You are in the middle of the daily operations and are in close contact with Sales, Planning, Processing, Finance, Marketing and Quality. We always want to provide the best service to our customers. To reach that, you together with your colleagues from your team and other teams, are responsible for delivery of vegetable seeds to our customer on time, in the right quality, complying with regulations and in a cost-efficient manner. Our aim is to have the highest satisfaction of our customers. We work with different systems (ERP system, BI tool, MS Office, CRM and external software systems) for transport and for phytosanitary regulation purposes.

What will you bring in our team:

You are an independent and energetic person with a positive attitude. You feel comfortable in an often hectic work environment and have the ability to work well in a team. You are flexible, customer-oriented, pro-active, you like challenges and you have a strong sense of responsibility. As we are a Dutch company, our internal communication is often in Dutch. Considering the international character of this role it is also necessary to have a good knowledge of the English language. We are constantly looking to improve our processes and optimize our way of working and your input in these processes will be appreciated.

 

We have few important requirements which we ask from our candidates:

 

  • Minimum HBO level education or MBO lever 4 (specialist)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in international commercial organization.
  • Experience in working with ERP systems, CRM system, export- and customs documents (phytosanitary rules, certificates of origin, incoterms)

Our recruitment process consists of two interviews.
The first interview focuses on understanding the candidate’s background, experience, and motivation for the role, as well as assessing overall fit.
The second interview is more in-depth and explores role-specific skills, competencies, and alignment with the team and company culture. A final decision is made following this stage.
