Reports to: Head of Supply Chain
We are looking for a well-seasoned manager that can lead our Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs functions in Hazera. The Global Quality & Regulatory Affairs Manager is responsible to ensure that our products, processes and customers quality requirements are fulfill and exceeded; developing along the way our strategy to continuously improve our results, inside our regulatory frame.
Responsibilities
- Overall global accountability for all Quality and Regulatory related topic in IL, NL and Hazera subsidiaries.
- Successfully lead 3 functions inside the Q&RA Quality Assurance, Product Quality Management and Seed Regulatory Affairs.
- Build, Define, Direct and Monitor all related Quality and Regulatory Know-how, processes, best practices and KPIs.
- Be the champion and driver of key initiatives leaning to improve our seed and process quality deliverables.
- Deliver and structure our Regulatory affairs stand and policy as a company.
- Key role by representing Hazera towards Limagrain Global Quality Forum and activities.
- Visible managerial face towards key regulatory and representatives of authorities link to our field of expertise.
- Manage the maintenance and improvements needed to accomplish our Quality Policy drivers.
- Ownership over improving in a structure and quantitative way our deliverables link to: claims management, non-quality costs, risk management (both products and procedures), continuous learning and certifications.
- Management of ~ 7 Quality & Regulatory professionals with global scope, based in Israel and the Netherlands
Candidate profile
- Bachelor’s in agriculture/life sciences. An MSc in a relevant field is a plus.
- 5 years of experience in leading professional quality teams.
- Experience in the Agro, Bio, Pharma, or Food industries, mandatory.
- Fluent English – the ability to communicate professionally, clearly, and effectively, verbally and in writing. *Hebrew or Dutch – will be a great advantage for the team.
- Strong customer focus with high capability in building strong relations and trust.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly collaborative with the ability to influence.
- Strong organizational skills and initiative.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to focus on projects for extended periods.
- Strong digital and systems orientation.
- Ability to lead tasks and projects, engage others and work under tight schedules in a dynamic environment.
