Main Goal
Lead Hazera’s global planning organization, ensuring reliable service level to the customer, demand–supply alignment, KPI-driven execution, and integration with S&OP and business priorities.
The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration across global and local interfaces to secure aligned priorities and integrated planning.
In addition, represents the planning function in digital (ERP) transformation and the development of future operating models to ensure readiness and effective planning capabilities.
Job description
- Own and execute the global end-to-end planning strategy, including production planning, inventory and stock management, order management, and OTIF performance, ensuring alignment with commercial and operational priorities.
- Lead and develop the global Planning organization (Israel & NL), including managers and teams, own capability growth, engagement, and performance.
- Ensuring flawless supply to customers - Integration of key local and global stakeholders (Production, Processing Plants, QC, Customer Service, Marketing, Commercial, Demand Planning, Finance, Subsidiaries, including sister companies within the LVS group to ensure integrated planning, aligned priorities, and shared execution aiming flawless supply to customers
- Strengthen global planning excellence by refining and standardizing methodologies, harmonizing processes across sites, and enabling efficient, data-driven planning that supports strategic decision-making.
- Ensure global S&OP execution, performance visibility, and continuous improvement are aligned with planning objectives, business priorities, and operational realities.
- Sponsor development of digital planning capabilities (ERP, BI, advanced planning tools) to enhance transparency, scalability, and readiness for future operating models.
- Drive process optimization and cross-source data analysis to identify improvement opportunities, maximize planning accuracy, and support operational performance.
- Represent the planning function in strategic forums, supporting decisions on prioritization, trade-offs, risks, and business impact.
What we expect of you
- BSc in Industrial Engineering. MSc in Life Sciences/Business Administration is a plus.
- At least 7 years experience in planning or supply chain leading position in industrial global organizations, preferably for complex Agriculture or Biotech company.
- Proven experience to handle complex projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and perform well under pressure.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions in alignment with business objectives
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and excellent communication skills, with proven experience in leading teams and managing diverse managers.
- Have a strong sense of ownership and result orientation approach (passion about making the right things happen in the right way at the right time).
- Experience with initiating and integrating new models and procedures.
- Excellent Excel skills. Confident in the use of Excel tools to build data base and tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP (JDE/Oracle), and BI tools (QlikView is a plus).
- Fluent in English
- Travel: Willing to travel up to 25%.
