Job description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The AMPA QSE & CSR Regional Lead & Global Quality Lead is responsible for driving the strategic and operational execution of HM.CLAUSE’s Quality, Safety, Environment (QSE), and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives across the AMPA region (Americas and Pacific). This role also serves as the global leader for the Quality pillar, shaping and deploying the global Quality Assurance (QA) strategy. The position is based at the AMPA headquarters in Davis, California.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The AMPA QSE & CSR Regional Lead & Global Quality Lead will develop and execute the region’s QSE and CSR initiatives , ensuring alignment with global QSE & CSR business objectives. This role will oversee the implementation of QSE systems, KPIs, and continuous improvement programs. As the global lead for Quality Assurance, the role will be responsible for developing and ensuring the execution of the global QA strategy.

Regional Leadership – AMPA QSE & CSR
· Develop and implement AMPA regional QSE & CSR initiatives in alignment with global objectives.
· Oversee Quality Assurance, Health & Safety, Environmental, and CSR activities across the region.
· Deploy QSE systems, KPIs, and continuous-improvement programs; ensure integration of QSE principles into all processes and projects.
· Ensure regulatory compliance, lead risk and crisis management efforts, and oversee audits, claims, investigations, and resolution.
· Strengthen QSE culture through communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
· Manage the AMPA regional QSE budget and prioritize expenditures.
· Lead and develop direct and indirect QSE team members, including goal setting, performance reviews, and team development.
· Participate in the AMPA Regional Leadership Team (Extended-EXECOM) and contribute to management reviews and strategic decision-making.
· Oversee regional QSE governance structures and participate in relevant expert groups.
Global Leadership – Quality Assurance
· Define, deploy, and monitor the global Quality Assurance initiatives in alignment with the Limagrain Vegetable Seed (LVS) strategy.
· Establish and track global QA KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
· Serve as the primary liaison with the Limagrain Group on global Quality topics.
· Partner with regional Quality Assurance teams, serving as a dotted-line manager to ensure alignment of processes and priorities.
· Provide analytical and technical expertise related to seed health, quality, and performance.
What we expect of you
To be considered, you will need:
· Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
· 10+ years of technical experience in the seed industry, with a strong focus on Quality.
· Proven track record in senior leadership roles.
· Solid understanding of seed testing standards and regulatory frameworks.
· Demonstrated experience maintaining and auditing ISO certification within corporate environments.
· Fluency in English required; Spanish or French is a plus.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

HM.CLAUSE offers a strong compensation and benefits package to its employees:
- Competitive salary
- This position’s range is $122,000 - $154,000
Our total compensation and pay ranges reflect our market pay structures. As such, individual salaries or hourly rates are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: local geographical market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as job related skills, education, and experience.
