Function

Production - Home farm production

Stock seed production / Status produciton / F1 production 

Main Goal

The Main goal of this position : is to look after the different crops seed production with utmost IP security and produce good seeds with high produciton reliability in quality and quantity sense.

Job description

Specifically this job is :

  1. Production planning
  2. Maintaining right sowing window for all the crops to achieve high production reliability
  3. Maintain high IP security
  4. Maintain all safety culture in the field aligning with company policy
  5. Production of all the allocated crops seed production to maintain 
    1. Quantitative seed produciton reliability
    2. Qulaitative seed produciton reliability.
  6. Help to produce all Status seeds as per allocation / production plan.
  7. Help to SPR team to manage their SPR trials on the farm.
  8. Have good knowledge of agronomical practices, disease and pest identification and their control measure.
  9. Should be collaborative to align his work with high priority.

  1. Good listener and implementer with own good ideas.
  2. Good knowledge of agronomical practices.
  3. Good knowledge of production seasons for the crops.
  4. Good knowledge of disease and pest on the different crops.
  5. Knowledge of control measures.
  6. Planning to procure chemicals and fertilizers for the crops considering their diseases and pests.
  7. Good knowledge on IP security.
  8. Collaboration with other departments like SPR, other HFy, PAM team
