Main Goal

Reporting directly to the Global Accounting and Compliance Lead, you will ensure that each EMEA subsidiary complies with Group policies and deadlines, as well as local regulatory requirements, while supporting the company’s objectives of profitable growth and cash generation.

Your Missions

As a guarantor of the reliability of financial data, you will ensure operational continuity, compliance with both local and Group standards, and actively contribute to the profitability and transformation of the Finance function across the EMEA region (Spain, Italy, Turkey, Algeria, Kenya).

Key Responsabilities 

Regional Coordination
• Supervise accounting and financial compliance of EMEA subsidiaries
• Functionally coordinate local Finance Managers: financial planning, accounting, internal control, internal and external audits, and administrative relationships with third parties (customers, suppliers, banks)
• Ensure continuity of all financial operations (accounting, tax, audit, treasury, forecasting, insurance) in a multicultural environment
• Ensure consistent application of Group policies and local regulations

Internal Control & Risk Management
• Implement strong internal controls and clear segregation of duties
• Prevent risks of fraud, corruption, and cyberattacks
• Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and accounting requirements

Reporting & Data Reliability
• Oversee the regional reporting process: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow
• Ensure the accuracy, relevance, and reliability of financial information
• Ensure clear communication of financial data to internal stakeholders (head office, subsidiaries, sister companies) and external stakeholders (auditors, banks, tax authorities)

Financial Performance & Cash Management
• Support projects to optimize operating expenses and improve profitability
• Monitor cash flow plans of each entity
• Contribute to balanced foreign exchange risk management
• Promote financial culture across departments
• Review variance analysis between actuals, budget, and forecasts – propose action plans
• Support the development of performance and profitability dashboards and KPIs
• Manage transfer pricing in alignment with Group tax policies and local legislation

Strategic Projects & Transformation
• Participate in strategic and operational projects (as requested by Group Finance or Regional Business Leaders)
• Actively contribute to the Finance function’s transformation (digitalization, organizational evolution)
• Monitor and follow up on new standards and regulations (accounting, tax, compliance)

What we expect of you

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 5 to 7+ years of experience in Finance, Audit, and/or Accounting
• Experience in cross-functional or matrix management
• Forecasting and budgeting experience is a plus
• Experience with Finance IT tools implementation is a plus
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a plus
• Strong communication, leadership, and team spirit
• Rigorous, autonomous, well-organized, and deadline-oriented
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment
