Join our Plant in Portes-les-Valence (110 people), a true center of excellence at the heart of our global Supply Chain, where more than 60% of the company’s seed flow passes through.
We’re looking for a Plant Manager who combines operational excellence with strong leadership and a genuine commitment to developing people.
Key Responsibilities
1. People & Leadership
- Lead, inspire and drive performance within a diverse team.
 - Develop people: support teams through coaching, regular one-to-ones, training and empowerment, in close partnership with HR.
 - Build a culture of trust, accountability and collaboration to create a strong, high-performing organization.
 - Promote and operate in transversal collaboration across Supply Chain and Business Units to foster alignment, efficiency and shared success.
 - Lead by example: live and promote our CARE values, encouraging initiative, ownership and team spirit.
 - Guide teams through change with clarity and empathy, making sure everyone understands their role in the process.
 
2. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Lead the implementation of Operational Excellence and Safety in Operations initiatives.
 - Foster a culture of continuous improvement with plant and Supply Chain stakeholders, ensuring a strong performance management system is in place.
 - Develop and strengthen performance management through clear processes, routines, KPIs and reporting systems ensuring reliable and sustainable results.
 - Propose and prioritize key improvement projects with a clear impact on efficiency and competitiveness
 - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
 
3. Strategic Vision – Mid & Long-Term Goals 
- Define and deliver PLV manufacturing goals in line with the company strategy.
 - Build and implement action plans that drive efficiency, cost optimization, productivity, and sustainable growth.
 - Anticipate future challenges and mobilize teams around a clear, shared vision.

Recruitment process
As part of the recruitment process, you’ll first meet with Marie (HR) and Frédéric, our Global Manufacturing Operations Director.
Next comes an assessment phase with a personality test.
Finally, you’ll wrap up the journey with a panel interview with Matthieu, our Supply Chain Director, and a cross-functional supply leader.
