Main Goal

The FP&A Commercial Business Analyst for EMEA will be a key part of the global FP&A team and will directly assist the VP and the sales organization of EMEA in managing the company’s financial performance goals.
This position supports the consolidation, analysis, and reporting of EMEA regional financial results. This role will support financial management efforts with accurate, clear, and timely analyses and regional reporting, as required in monthly and quarterly closings, forecasting/budgeting, and internal reporting.
In addition, a portion of the role will involve scenario analysis by providing management with an assessment of historical and forward-looking financial performance, including analysis of business performance and trends, risks and opportunities, and clear communication of business insights.

Job description

Essential duties and responsabilities include the following : 

Sales & Margin Analysis and Reporting
•    Analyze sales & margin data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.
•    Develop and maintain sales & margin reports and dashboards to monitor key performance metrics.

Financial Planning and Analysis
•    Support the consolidation of EMEA financial results during forecasts, budgets, and long-term planning exercises, collaborating with local and global finance team members.
•    Provide accurate and clear ad hoc financial analysis at regional and Business Unit level as needed.
•    Participate in, and potentially lead, the monthly close analysis, comparing actual performance to financial outlooks and reviewing revenue, gross margin, and operating expenses (OPEX) accuracy and trend.
•    Validate the consistency of information provided by subsidiaries and offer guidance on key indicators (P&L, balance sheet, working capital requirements, etc.).
•    Collaborate with other business analysts to create the monthly flash report and country contribution report.

Business Partnering and Support
•    Provide day-to-day business partnering and support for the VP of EMEA, General Managers in EMEA, and the Regional Financial Manager.
•    Work cross-functionally within the organization, serving as the primary financial analysis contact when needed.
•    Support business initiatives, including analysis for new product development, strategic crop reviews, and mergers and acquisitions.
•    Assist in monthly reporting in IFRS and consolidation formats.
•    Act as the BI tool (Business Intelligence: MicroStrategy) key user for the EMEA region for the sales reports.

Process Improvement and Optimization
•    Identify and implement plans to optimize planning, analysis, and reporting processes, leveraging information technology to automate and streamline these processes.

What we expect of you

•    3-5 years of experience in finance (FP&A, Audit, Consulting or Accounting).
•    Master’s degree in accounting, Finance or Engineering with Finance emphasis.
•    Fluent in English mandatory
•    Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
•    Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
•    Experience consolidating data, cash-flow analysis, a plus,
•    Industry experience: Agriculture, Manufacturing, Consumer Industry, Processing, Automotive would be a plus.
