Main Goal
Key Responsibilities
• Establish and monitor production plans, from development to delivery, in coordination with crop producer, and the purchasing administration department.
• Provide crop technical support and develop technical production documents, including descriptive sheets and technical itineraries, for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Work on technical experimentation plans to improve production reliability, ensure their execution, and document findings.
• Conduct technical monitoring, adapt, and improve production methods.
• Ensure production feasibility and economic viability of new genetic materials.
• Prepare and share annual quantitative and qualitative reports.
• Contribute to defining supply programs and managing inventory levels effectively.
• Maintain continuous communication and coordination with research, development, and product management teams to evaluate key market targets.
• Lead strategic planning efforts by analyzing market data, planning actions, and evaluating agronomic results.
What we expect of you
Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Biology, or a related field (Agro/Agri Engineer; Bac+3 preferred).
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in seed production, breeding, or experimentation.
• Ideally, strong technical expertise in vegetable production, including pest management, crop nutrition, protection, and post-harvest processes.
• Experience managing production needs across different geographical areas.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in Spanish is appreciated.
• Proficiency in standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with inventory management principles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and develop productive relationships with breeders, lab personnel, sales and development teams, quality control, and other key departments.
• Availability to travel up to 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally, with specific trips planned to Kenya, Spain, and Latin America.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to lead initiatives and collaborate effectively.
