Main Goal
'The Packing Assistant – Execute the Packing Work Orders as per the plan with Safety and Quality on top of everything.
Job description
'• Execute the Plan of day-to-day Packing activities as per WO details.
• Ensure correct labeling of seed packages with lot number, variety, weight, and other required information.
• Operate packing machines and tools safely and efficiently in absence of packing operators
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the packing area to avoid contamination and follow all 5s principle.
• Check packed seeds for proper sealing, weight accuracy, and label placement.
• Stack and arrange packed seed bags or boxes for storage or dispatch.
• Follow packing schedules and instructions from the supervisor.
• Report any issues with packing materials, machines, or seed quality to the supervisor or manager
• Carry out basic maintenance of packing machines.
• Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain daily records of packing process on machine as well as manual packing activity
