Job description

You will be a great fit if you have experience similar to: 

· Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on their daily tasks and learn to use critical control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established safety and environmental policies and procedures.

· Maintains workflow by monitoring work orders; setting priorities according to customer request; monitoring personnel and resources; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems.

· Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.

· Ensure physical inspections are done for all orders. Physical inspection includes physical quality review, seed counting, and prepare samples to the lab.

· Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions, and responding to requests.

· Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, analyze data to maintain process control, and budgetary and personnel requirements, and implementing change.

· Guarantee the completion of the procedures & work instructions by every stakeholder.

· Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.

· Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, developing personal growth opportunities.

· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

What we expect of you

To be considered, you will need:

· Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, engineering, or related area; or equivalent experience

· 3 years of seed processing experience or 5 years of general warehouse or manufacturing experience or a combination of both.

· 2 yrs. supervisory experience

· Experience in Lean Manufacturing is highly desirable.

While performing the duties of this job the employee may be driving cars, trucks, forklifts, or other equipment. This position will be exposed to warehouse and outdoor weather conditions. The employee may need to walk on uneven ground, work near equipment or machinery, work in a dusty environment, and may be exposed to vibration or constant movement. The noise level that is typical of this work environment is loud.
