Function

Main Goal

To support the effective implementation of Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) programs while providing administrative support in Human Resources and Finance. The role coordinates safety activities, maintains HR records and processes, and supports finance operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Job description

Occupational Safety & Health

Maintain safety records, reports, dashboards, and compliance documentation.Coordinate safety meetings, track action plans, and follow up on corrective actions arising from incidents and audits.Conduct or support risk assessments and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) for farm operations, equipment, and processes.Monitor compliance with company safety standards and legal requirements.Support safety training, toolbox talks, awareness initiatives, and the promotion of a positive safety culture.

Finance Administration

Process invoices, payments, journals, and other financial transactions in the accounting system.Support supplier reconciliations, financial record management, asset tracking, inventory control, and stock-taking activities.Prepare reports, perform basic data analysis, and provide administrative support to finance operations.

Human Resource Administration

Maintain employee records and HR documentation, supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee data management.Administer leave, attendance, and payroll-related records, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.Support employee relations, disciplinary processes, training activities, and employee welfare initiatives.Monitor statutory compliance requirements, including NSSF and SHIF follow-up, and maintain related records.Ensure HR and statutory documentation is accurate, up to date, and properly filed.

What we expect of you

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

Diploma or Degree in a business-related field.Minimum 2years' experience in administration, HR, safety, finance, or a similar support role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team and multicultural environment.Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Added Advantage

Training or certification in Occupational Safety & Health and/or Human Resources.CPA qualification (completed or in progress),Working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software.Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or a production environment.
