Job description
You will be a great fit if you have experience similar to:
Plan strategies and procedures to meet the Plant’s goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Motivation
Provide leadership and overall guidance to team members
Plan and schedule team members and equipment to complete orders by deadlines
Work with external departments to prioritize orders to meet business needs
Support the strategic planning of the department to plan for future capacity
Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on department specific processes, equipment, and resources; with a focus on maintaining compliance with established safety and environmental regulations
Develop team training plans to ensure understanding and knowledge transfer to all members
Collaborate with Maintenance to ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and routinely inspected
Work with and manage employees handling chemicals and pesticides
Generate and provide reports to upper management on department specific KPI’s
Enforce all company and plant specific policies and issue disciplinary actions as needed
Recommend and implement process improvements by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems,
forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements
Stay up to date with new seed industry trends and techniques and promote new ideas to team members
What we expect of you
To be considered, you will need:
3 years of seed processing experience or 5 years of general warehouse or manufacturing experience or a combination of both.
2 years of leadership experience
Experience in Lean Manufacturing is highly desirable
Ability to obtain Applicators License may be required

HM.CLAUSE offers a strong compensation and benefits package to its employees:
- Competitive salary
- This position’s range is $71,000 - $88,000
Our total compensation and pay ranges reflect our market pay structures. As such, individual salaries or hourly rates are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: local geographical market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as job related skills, education, and experience.
