At HM.CLAUSE, we are looking for a Foodchain Representative (M/F) for our research and development station located in La Mojonera (Almería).

Are you interested in being responsible for generating business and developing strategic relationships with all stakeholders in the value chain (distributors, retailers, strategic partners), ensuring the successful positioning of the company’s varieties and projects?

Main Goal

Reporting directly to the Foodchain Manager of the Spanish subsidiary, you will identify, capture, and develop the commercial strategy within the value chain, driving sales growth by identifying market opportunities, positioning products, and influencing distribution channels through to the end consumer. You will also capture and analyze all market trends for our main crop segments.

Job description

Among your main responsibilities at HM.CLAUSE:

  • Define and execute the Food Chain action plan, aligned with the sales strategy.
  • Act as a key point of contact with the value chain (customers, distributors, etc.).
  • Analyze and monitor business performance (sales, KPIs, market, and competition).
  • Identify and drive growth opportunities and strategic projects (new markets, clients, formats).
  • Manage and strengthen key relationships, including loyalty plans and field visits.
  • Coordinate commercial actions, events, product launches, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, development) and external partners.
  • Provide market insights and recommendations for product and strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with branding guidelines and proper execution of projects.
  • Support trials, results evaluation, and the development of new varieties.

What we expect of you

  • Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Marketing or Sales, or similar.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in the vegetable seed industry (specifically within the food value chain).
  • Regular user of Microsoft Office, digital platforms, and social media.

A profile with a strategic mindset and strong technical knowledge of the sector, capable of analyzing, coordinating, and executing autonomously, maintaining key relationships, and adapting to a dynamic environment, with availability to travel.

Languages:

  • Fluent English
  • French is a plus
