Job description

You will be a great fit if you have experience similar to: 

• Assist with planning, setup, and maintenance of field trials and research projects. 
• Collaborate with the Research Associate in evaluating and improving field trials to enhance 
efficiency, quality, and accuracy of research outcomes. 
• Monitor field activities to ensure adherence to standard procedures and quality standards. 
• Collect and record observational data accurately. 
• Prepare and organize field materials, tools, and equipment. 
• Report on field progress, issues, and outcomes to supervisors. 
• Ensure a safe and efficient work environment for all field personnel. 
• Require the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform repetitive tasks 
• Receive and distribute seeds for seed production, variety trials, product development and
marketing etc.
• Coordinate seed productions of advanced breeding lines with parent seed supply manager
• Coordinate with field and greenhouse crew in seeding, transplanting, crossing blocks, and
seed harvest
• Collaborate with plant pathologist, genotyping team in project submission, result tracking and
data entry

What we expect of you

To be considered, you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Plant Science, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience in field operations, agricultural research, or plant management and assisting in research trials or 
operational projects. 
• Familiarity with standard field practices, safety protocols, and documentation.
• Spanish language is a plus
