Operations 

Main Goal

Warehouse Manager has oversight for all Seed as well as Non-Seed handling from Reception to Dispatch ensuring operational excellence by managing physical Seed inventory vs system with zero deviations and additional responsibility of Plant QC and also Responsible for organizing deliveries, storage and dispatches of goods within the Warehouse or Distribution center or to the direct Customer.

  • Responsible for Space management by ensuring efficient utilization of facility space.
  • Responsible for working cross-functionally with functional owners to deliver against business targets.

Job description

 
  • Provides overall direction to the Reception, Inventory, Dispatch, Sales return , bulking , Non-Seed and Plant QC team and implements strategy in collaboration with the Plant Head.
  • Responsible for Service Level Agreement targets for the Reception as well as On time dispatch with Zero deviations.
  • Participate in Plant SIM and collaborate to efficiently supply volumes on timely manner with right Customer with right quantity.
  • Support areas across the plant in driving the adoption of continuous improvement practices and programs (5S, Lean, Kaizens, SIM, Gemba walk & CRP (Critical Risk Programme).
  • Stock Taking : Cycle count twice in year for both Seed and Non-Seed. Also, Blind count on monthly basis.
  • Supervising Daily Warehouse activities, including Quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and support Customer service team for ensuring the right qty to right Customer with on time.
  • Liaising: Liaising with transport companies and Government authorities with alignment of plant manager and Legal team.
  • Ensuring the Safety of staff
