Function

Main Goal

To manage periodic trials of crops at station.

Job description

• Data Recording & Documentation
• Record yield data accurately.
• Maintain logs of farm activities, production data, and resource usage for reporting and analysis.
• Operational Support
• Assist the Trial Station Officer in planning, coordinating, and executing farm operations (crop cultivation,       irrigation, harvesting, livestock management).
• Help monitor and manage farm inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient utilization.
• Supervision & Coordination
• Support in supervising farm workers, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely completion of daily operations.
• Communicate correct timing during crop maturity for trial evaluation.
