Main Goal

The Seed Processing Manager is responsible for end‑to‑end seed processing activities—from cleaning to packing—ensuring operational excellence and safe, reliable operations that deliver high‑quality products to customers. This role requires strong cross‑functional collaboration to achieve business targets and maintain compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.

Job description

• Provide overall direction to the Processing Team and implement operational strategies in alignment with the Plant Head. 
• Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and On Time Delivery (OTD) targets. 
• Drive operational improvements, monitor KPIs, and implement best practices through team and peer collaboration. 
• Represent and contribute to site initiatives focused on enhancing Safety and Quality culture, ensuring compliance with all safety standards. 
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of QMS to deliver products that meet or exceed stakeholders and customer expectations. 
• Actively participate in plant ELITE initiatives—such as CRP, SIM, OEE, 5S, Visual Management, Kaizen, QRQC, RCA, Why Why Analysis, FMEA, Gemba Walk, etc. 
• Implement Seed Technology processes in the plant, improving efficiency and optimizing resources. 
• Coordinate with Supply Planning and Customer Service teams to ensure timely supply volumes for domestic as well as Export. 
• Develop the team in line with business needs, including setting objectives, performance tracking, and capability building. 
• Promote and support Continuous Improvement practices across the plant. 
• Utilize Seed Technology methods to improve processes and establish standard work. 
• Develop training plans for team members and conduct effective evaluations, ensuring robust development plans.
