Main Goal

Main goal is to support breeding programs with high demand tasks such as transplanting, pollination, harvest and data collection (with supervision from breeding team). These tasks require stable quality and high preciseness. Besides, this position can execute some operation tasks related to machines to be developed in station, and IT equipments to support data collection.

Job description

• Lead and work hands-on with a small team of 3–6 workers on key tasks such as pollination, harvesting, data collection, and crop care – and report daily results.
• Use electronic devices like cameras, tablets, and computers to record and enter data.
• Operate simple agricultural machinery (sprayers, fertilizer applicators, mini tillers, grass cutters, etc.).
• Monitor crop growth, development, and pests/diseases, and report findings to the supervisor.
• Support internal programs such as pest management (SHIELD) and workplace safety activities.

• Trực tiếp hướng dẫn và làm việc cùng với một nhóm nhỏ công lao động từ 3-6 người các công việc như (thụ phấn, thu hoạch, lấy số liệu, chăm sóc…) và báo cáo kết quả công việc mõi ngày.

Local language:

• Sử dụng các thiết bị điện tử để thu thập số liệu, nhập số liệu như: máy ảnh, máy tính bảng, máy tính…
• Vận hành tốt các loại máy nông nghiệp đơn giản như: máy phun thuốc, máy châm phân bón, máy xới mini, máy cắt cỏ…
• Theo dõi sinh trưởng, phát tiển của cây trồng và dịch bệnh để báo cáo cho quản lý.
• Tham gia và hổ trợ các hoạt động nội bộ như: kiểm soát dịch hại (SHIELD), an toàn lao động.

What we expect of you

• High school diploma or above.
• Experience in the seed industry.
• Knowledge crop management such as pumpkin, bitter gourd, hot pepper, etc.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Personal qualities: respect for research confidentiality, commitment to workplace safety, organized and detail-oriented, good communication, and integrity

Local language

• Tốt nghiệp từ trung học phổ thông trở lên.
• Có kinh nghiệm làm việc trong ngành hạt giống
• Có kiến thức về chăm sóc cây rau ăn quả như ( bầu bí, khổ qua, ớt…)
• Trình độ tin học văn phòng cơ bản.
• Phẩm chất: tuân thủ các chuẩn mực đạo đức về bảo mật nghiên cứu, nguyên tắc an toàn lao động, ngăn nắp, kỹ lưỡng, giao tiếp tốt, trung thực.
