Production Home Farm
Main Goal
To Produce high qualtity seeds with targeted quanity and intime supply of the seeds to the end customer.
Job description
'Purpose: To produce good seeds for our valuable customer as allocated targeted quantity with high purity / quality and disease free seeds.
Job Summary :
1. Manage all crops as planned to produce at our home farm Hiriyur site.
2. Planning work :
Sowing of the seeds based on the target allocation,
Transplanting of the seedlings using correct sowing window.
3. Reporting : Prepare weekly report and arrange to send the same to farm manager
4. Complete all the complience formats as per company policy against all the crops producing at farm after discussion with supervisor.
5. Daily visiting crops and discuss with supervisors for further disease / pest incidence, control measure and suggest the same to superviosr. Supervise the chemical usage.
6. Work and observe different developmental projects and help to farm manager to complete those projects in time as per the budget deadlines.
What we expect of you
- Good knowldege on agronomical practices for all crops
- Handling farm activities and labor management for the day to day activities on the farm.
- Effective handaling the situation regarding disease and pest attack on the crops.
- Knowldge about control measures for the diseases and pests on the crops which we are producing here on the farm.
- One team working and listening ability while working on the farm.
- Planning part for sowing and transplanting of the seedlings on time to receive the seeds on time.
- Sharing frequently to the team on proper harvesting, cleaning, temperory storage of the seeds and finally shipment of hte seeds on p
