Job description

You will be a great fit if you have experience similar to: 

•    Manage health and welfare benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and wellness programs.  
•    Lead annual open enrollment planning and execution, including communications and system updates. 
•    Partner and manage third-party administrators, brokers, and consultants to ensure plan effectiveness and compliance. 
•    Lead the Benefits Committee meetings 
•    Monitor and analyze benefit trends, utilization, and costs; recommend plan design changes as needed. 
•    Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including ACA, HIPAA, CCPA
•    Coordinate and file IRS Form 5500 and other required documentation. 
•    Prepare and deliver employee communications and training regarding health and welfare benefits. 
•    Assist in managing benefit-related expenses and budgeting. 
•    Document and improve health and welfare procedures and workflows. 
•    Identify legal requirements and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant.
•    Maintain well-organized health/welfare work files to ensure confidentiality and security of employee data.  
•    Respond to employee benefits inquiries in a timely, respectful, and professional manner, ensuring clear communication and resolution of issues related to health, welfare and other benefit programs.
•    Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to ensure accurate benefit processing and funding.
•    Oversee all aspects of employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, paid time off (PTO) and other leave provisions/policies. 
•    Supervise, support and coach a Benefits team in day-to-day administration.
•    Support/lead special projects in the region not limited to health benefits, workflows, SOPs, RFPs and process improvement.

What we expect of you

To be considered, you will need: 

·    Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in any one or more of the following: Human Resources, Business, Finance or related field 
·    At least 5 years of related work experience in Benefits Administration, Leave Administration, or equivalent.
·    Employee Benefits or Retirement certifications from CEBS, World at Work, or equivalent is a plus.

HM.CLAUSE offers a strong compensation and benefits package to its employees:
•    Competitive salary
o    This position’s range is $83,000 - $103,000
Our total compensation and pay ranges reflect our market pay structures.  As such, individual salaries or hourly rates are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: local geographical market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as job related skills, education, and experience.
