Job description

You will be a great fit if you have experience similar to: 

• Develop and maintain clear documentation for tools, processes, reports, and automated workflows.

• Apply and organize metadata layers to support data security, lookups, and data mapping activities.

• Verify and validate data extractions using tools such as Excel or Access.

• Build and refine SQL extraction queries to support recurring and ad hoc data requests.

• Support the development and automation of data import, cleansing, and transformation processes for internal and external datasets. 

What we expect of you

To be considered, you will need:

Education
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with experience in data analysis or scripting preferred.
• Coursework or academic experience in databases, data analytics, or programming is a plus.

Technical Skills
• Basic proficiency with data tools such as Excel, Access, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of basic security concepts within the windows domain.
• Familiarity with SQL for data extraction or willingness to learn.
• Understanding of fundamental concepts in data modeling, data warehousing, or ETL processes (coursework or project experience acceptable).
• Exposure to Python, R, or Power BI/MicroStrategy is a bonus but not required.
• Interest in learning about data governance and digital security best practices (no prior experience 
needed).

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
• Ability to analyze, validate, and troubleshoot datasets with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong critical thinking and curiosity about data systems and how they support business decisions.

Communication & Collaboration
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting processes and collaborating with 
stakeholders.
• Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships and work effectively as part of a team.

Work Habits & Professional Skills
• Self-starter with a willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and workflows.
• Ability to handle sensitive data responsibly and maintain confidentiality.

o    This position’s range is $22 - $25/hr
Our total compensation and pay ranges reflect our market pay structures.  As such, individual salaries or hourly rates are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: local geographical market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as job related skills, education, and experience.
