Main Goal

Oversee the administration of all compensation programs for the ASIA region. Serve as support on information systems administrator for local HRIS, global HRIS and any other necessary system interfaces to other company information systems.

Job description

Compensation & Job Analysis:
* Complete all non-executive level job and salary evaluations, including preparation of job offers.
* Administer all ASIA Incentive Plan payment calculations, the development of summary plan
description documentation, participant communications and coordination with function heads.
* Administer all aspects of the Profit Sharing program, including calculations and communications.
* Administer all aspects of the annual ASIA Merit Plan, including coordination with function heads,
calculations and employee communications and implementation of Comp& Ben strategy in Asia.
* Perform data collection and analysis necessary to administer the Global Compensation System
(Mercer).
* Perform data collection and analysis on externally sponsored salary surveys, such as the
Mercer/SIRS seed industry and Towers Watson surveys.
* Assist the Payroll Specialist and Controller in addressing any audit-related questions on
compensation matters.
* Develop and document all compensation procedures. Suggest reengineering of processes when
appropriate.
* Provide support to ASIA Subsidiary HR Manager on activities including the positioning of all jobs
on global grid, establishing salary ranges for all countries, participating in local compensation
surveys, completing local salary/job analysis and job offers and coordinating with HR Managers
on compensation related expatriate issues.
* Coordinate with the Sr. HR Organizational Development manager on the administration of the
performance appraisal process and data analytics.
* Keep orderly and organized compensation work files.
* Implement global compensation reports
* Implement bonus scheme to the different countries in Asia
* To propose local solutions for Comp & Ben programs including non-financial benefits and
innovative ways of employment retention and employer attractiveness.
* Ensure all job descriptions are updated and in consistency
HR Projects and Systems:
* Assist in the execution of special projects on all HR topics as directed by HR management.
* Participate in the design, development, testing and administration of all HR systems related
projects.
* Implement and conduct periodic audits of data on the HRIS, Payroll and Time & Attendance
systems. Create and implement plans necessary to correct data discrepancies.
* Become proficient in developing reports in HRIS, Payroll and Time & Attendance systems.
* Audit and ensure the accuracy of data passed between the HRIS, Payroll and Time & Attendance
systems.
* Recommend new processes to ensure maintenance of accurate and timely data.
* Perform data analysis, collection and administration on global HRIS initiative (SMART).
* Support to HR and management teams on HRIS usage providing trainings and assistance.
Budget and headcount control
* To evaluate headcount progression and approval, compensation and benefit and internal
promotions to ensure consistency in the region

* Technical Skills – Strong thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of
human resources management. Ability to stay current with federal and states laws and regulations. Strong computer skills to include Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint;
as well as experience with HRIS.
