In accordance with the LVS research strategy, develop, and implement methodologies and technologies dedicated to Pathology application activities aiming at following disease resistance in breeding germplasm and contributing to the phytosanitary monitoring of R&D station. Design and execute these activities based on pathology expertise in a regional and global contexts.
Vos Missions
Collaborate for Pathology implementation activities for the Pathology Application:
- To initiate, propose and develop projects to implement technologies and methodologies for Research and breeding
- To be responsible for the organization and execution of assigned projects within the framework of the project plan and timeframe, in collaboration with stakeholders from several BUs and domains.
- To realize analyses to improve the knowledge for phytosanitary monitoring of R&D station
- Improve research or support protocols and processes, and propose adapted tools and methods in a spirit of continuous improvement
Ce que nous attendons de vous
- You hold a PhD in Plant Pathology
- You master Plant Pathology particularly related to plant disease resistance and pathogen transmission. You already have demonstrated understanding of plant breeding and use of molecular markers.
- Your experience in research project management from proposal development to execution and reporting (including scheduling, budget planning, reporting, analyzing, interpreting) would help you to successfully carry out your mission.
- You have strong communication and organizational skills.
- Finally, your agility allows you to work in matrix, intercultural and multi-location environments. In accordance with this, you are fluent in both English and French (oral and written).
Position can start as soon as possible - temporary contract 5 months - until end of June 2026
