Purpose of the role
As key member of the Limagrain Spain Management Committee, you will lead the commercial strategy and sales organization for our LG brand—a leading seed brand across Europe for Maize, Sunflower, OSR, Cereals, and more. This is a unique opportunity to drive growth, shape market strategy, and lead a high‑performing team within an international and innovative environment.
Based in Elorz (near Pamplona) and reporting to the Country Manager, you will define and implement the commercial strategy in Spain and Portugal, manage Regional Sales Managers, build strong customer relationships, and ensure delivery of financial objectives.
Short Description
Commercial Strategy & Execution
- Lead the SP & PT LG Roadmap and ensure deployment across Spain and Portugal.
- Develop and implement the commercial strategy (go‑to‑market, distribution, commercial policy, negotiations with key accounts, demand creation).
- Build and follow sales budgets, forecasts, pricing, margin, and implement risk mitigation.
- Ensure availability through packing plan & supply follow‑up.
Team Leadership
- Directly manage Regional Sales Managers and drive Sales Effectiveness initiatives.
- Develop competencies, performance, and engagement within the sales organization.
- Ensure adoption of CRM, KPIs, and customer‑focused execution.
Market Influence & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Foster strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, farmers, and sector stakeholders.
- Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Supply, and Customer Service.
- Actively participate in European Limagrain Field Seeds projects.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety rules and the company code of conduct.
- Lead safety culture within the team (equipment conformity, training, risk assessment, MSV, reporting).
