The Junior FP&A Analyst supports the delivery of EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) and BI (Business Intelligence) solutions, ensuring reliable data, effective reporting, and successful project implementation. The position also promotes user adoption and continuous improvement of finance processes, controls, and reporting practices.
Vos Missions
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
EPM & BI Projects Support (OPEX & CAPEX)
- Support the implementation of EPM & BI applications solutions from both a business and end-user perspective.
- Perform data reconciliation between source systems, reporting outputs, and EPM & applications.
- Conduct functional and operational testing of reporting solutions, dashboards, and EPM & BI processes.
- Validate data mapping, business rules, calculation logic, and reporting outputs.
- Identify issues, document test results, and coordinate corrective actions with project teams and FP&A Reporting teams.
- Participate in EPM and BI solution deployment workshops and support deployment activities.
Change Management & User Adoption
- Contribute to the change management strategy related to EPM & BI projects.
- Develop communication plans and user engagement materials.
- Facilitate user information sessions, training workshops, and Q&A sessions.
- Prepare training materials, user guides, tutorials, process documentation, and business glossaries.
- Support end users during deployment phases and promote the adoption of new tools and processes.
- Gather user feedback and recommend continuous improvements.
Process Improvement & Internal Controls
- Document and maintain finance processes, procedures, and internal controls associated with EPM and BI solution deployments.
- Ensure alignment between business requirements, financial reporting needs, and underlying data structures.
- Conduct regular data quality reviews and internal control assessments.
- Support initiatives aimed at automating, simplifying, and improving financial processes.
- Contribute to the standardization and optimization of reporting and performance management practices across the organization.
You will report to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, and will work in an international environement with FP&A team, project team & local financial managers.
Ce que nous attendons de vous
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5 equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with initial experience in a finance-related role (including internships or apprenticeships/work-study).
- You are fluent in both English and French.
- Your attention to detail, autonomy, analytical mindset, communication and adaptability skills, as well as your interest in data reconciliation, reporting & data quality control, will enable you to successfully carry out your responsibilities.
- You have an excellent command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- You have experience in data consolidation or cash flow analysis,
- Experience working in an international environment is appreciated.
- You have knowledge of JD Edwards, SAP HANA, or BI Solutions & you master Microsoft Office,
Position based in Portes-lès-Valence (26), France, with a start date of October, 1st 2026 (or Asap)
Temporary contract : 12 months
